English major with a focus on Professional Writing and Communications Strategy
Welcome to my portfolio space that reflects my journey as I grow into a strategic communicator, blending my academic foundation with hands-on experience in digital messaging and content creation.
As a Communications Assistant for University Information Technology Services (UITS) at Kennesaw State University, I have developed and implemented strategic social media plans, designed engaging graphics and promotional flyers, and served as a campus representative during tabling events. In this role, I actively connect with students to share updates on technological initiatives, gather feedback on design prototypes, and facilitate discussions around emerging topics such as artificial intelligence and KSU’s digital resources. I had the opportunity to speak at Kennesaw State University’s 1st AI Fair, where another assistant and I talked about how students can Tailor AI to Their Individual Learning Styles.
As a Wing Leader with Kennesaw State University’s Student Success Programs, I served as a mentor to a cohort of 30 first-year students, guiding them through the transition into college life and helping them build a strong foundation for academic and personal success. In addition to providing individualized support, I collaborated with a small team to promote and organize events tailored to the needs of freshmen. This included planning and executing a large-scale event for our mentees, where I contributed to the design of flyers, managed supply requests through formal documentation, and developed detailed Excel planning sheets to ensure smooth coordination.
As the Social Media Manager for Kennesaw State University’s Marvel Rivals Esports Team, I lead the development of the team’s digital presence across Twitter and Instagram, shaping how players, students, and the broader esports community engage with our program. I design promotional graphics for game days, team events, and branding initiatives, ensuring a cohesive visual identity that aligns with both esports culture and university standards. Beyond day‑to‑day posting, I build and implement a comprehensive social media strategy that supports seasonal engagement goals, platform growth, and sponsor visibility. This role allows me to blend creative design, strategic communication, and community-building to elevate the team’s visibility and strengthen its competitive identity.
As President of Kennesaw State University’s Women’s Club Lacrosse team, I led the planning and execution of our seasonal games, developed comprehensive budget planners for both fall and spring semesters, and oversaw all aspects of team operations and outreach. I initiated a sponsorship proposal to Dick’s Sporting Goods and successfully organized a partnership with Domino’s through the “Slice the Price” fundraiser, raising over $500 to support team expenses. In addition to managing our social media presence, I created promotional graphics and flyers to boost engagement and visibility on the team’s Instagram page.
